For The Value of Words project I decided to do a lighthouse with the piece of land it is sitting on and the sea in the background with the light beaming out. I chose to do a lighthouse because they are very useful and important. They are also my moms favorite attraction. We go see them everywhere, in Duluth, in Florida, in Texas, and many more places. Words form values in our lives and our connections to others by expressing emotions and thoughts. The knowledge of one person can be transferred to multiple people at once just from their words. In my opinion, works of art do not always need a description. I think this so that the viewer can see what they want to see and have their own description of the piece. Adding words to a piece of art work can make it harder to see what the art is but can describe or have a story to the image. I think spoken words are the most important when investigating a work of art. I think this because more opinions may be expressed and more ideas come to mind.
